The project was commenced by Feb 2015. The expanded product warehouse was officially put into operation on 30 Jan 2016 after nearly 12 months of construction. This is the phase I of the large project of the owner Long Thanh Plastic Company Ltd. with the contractor D&D Engineering Construction JSC (DDEC).
Addressing the hand-over ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Muoi – General Director of the owner said: “The expanded product warehouse initiates the chain of future projects of Long Thanh Plastic Co., Ltd. When put into operation, the overall project is promising to enhance scale, capacity and professional business of the company. The project will boost up the company’s development in the future.
Located at 135A Ho Hoc Lam St, Binh Tan District, HCMC, the expanded product warehouse with investment cost of nearly 100 billion VND has three floors with total storing area 21,000m2 equipped with modern technology imported from Japan.
The newly built product warehouse is designed to create the scientific storing process. This is the phase 1 within the 10 year-plan with total investment cost for construction work of 500 bil. VND.
The project is composed of infrastructure, two warehouses and the office building. Time for completion is estimated for three years. The second warehouse will be built in the phase 2 with similar storing capacity to the first one’s, yet it will be equipped with the professional semi-automatic racking system helping save time and labor during operation.
When put into operation, the project will help enhance production capability creating more jobs as well as contributing to the economic – social development.
